Getting Around
Public Transportation
Public transportation in Bohol is affordable and offers a glimpse into local daily life. In towns like Tagbilaran City and Panglao, tricycles are the most common option for short distances.
For travel between towns, jeepneys, multicabs, buses, and vans operate on fixed routes across the island. Motorcycle taxis, locally known as habal-habal, are also available for reaching more remote areas. While simple and budget-friendly, public transport may have limited schedules and minimal air-conditioning.
